LIGHTNESS OF BEING

The ephemeral and paired down nature of this Jes Wade collection, a sort of spiritual zen, allowed for complete focus on skin and movements of the body. Nudes and lingerie are a common subject of photographer Caitlin Mitchell and I wanted to push her representations of desire into a polished and conscious concept. We developed a vibrant "sunlight" on a white background to focus on beauty and human form and pushed the talented models to defy gravity and eclipse earth with dance movements and yoga poses. Keeping a strong shadow added dimension to the final image. The campaign was published in a print magazine as well through web and social media channels.
